Established in 2020, The Roots Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering communities through girl child education and rural infrastructure development in Uttarakhand. What began as a small initiative among friends has grown into a global community of supporters, collectively working to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Devbhoomi Karmyogi Award 2025
A proud milestone for The Roots Foundation as its Founder,
Sachin Bajpai, was honoured for his dedicated service to Uttarakhand.
Representing District Rudraprayag, the award was presented by
Mr. Satpal Maharaj (Cabinet Minister) during the statehood celebration event in December 2025.
