The Impact We Created Together
Thanks to the incredible support of our participants, donors, and Champions, the ROOTS Foundation Challenge helped create meaningful change beyond the finish line.
One of the key milestones from our past fundraising efforts was our contribution to the Stroke Service at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2021. The donation supported the Daybrook Stroke Unit in enhancing rehabilitation activities for stroke patients, helping make their recovery journey more engaging, purposeful, and effective.
The funds enabled patients to participate in therapeutic activities such as gardening and everyday domestic tasks, supporting them in rebuilding confidence, regaining independence, and preparing for a smoother transition back to their daily lives.
This achievement stands as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together for a cause. Every kilometre completed, every challenge undertaken, and every contribution made helped turn compassion into action and create a lasting impact on the lives of others.
