Established in 2020, The Roots Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering communities through girl child education and rural infrastructure development in Uttarakhand. What began as a small initiative among friends has grown into a global community of supporters, collectively working to create meaningful and lasting impact.
Over the past five years, The Roots Foundation has successfully delivered multiple projects focused on improving school infrastructure, enhancing learning environments, and supporting access to education for children in remote hill regions. From classroom upgrades to sanitation facilities and structural improvements, our work is rooted in creating safe and enabling spaces where young minds can thrive.
We operate as a catalyst for change by collaborating closely with local communities, school authorities, and on-ground volunteers.
